Dang! That's a lotta dove recipes! I've never eaten dove, but there are sure a lot of them hanging around here. I'd try some. (Guess I gotta learn to shoot 1st!) I love dark meat, especially duck. Haven't had any duck in a long time.

if ducks weren't so dang messy I would raise a few for the table. regular grocery stores only carry it seasonally around here so its hard to get my hands on one. I have only cooked a few and was happy with how they turned out but would like to work on it some more. I love dard meat too. Have you ever had goose? that is something i would like to try. An aquaintence of mine is raising some quail for the table which I had never thought to do before and that has also peaked my interest. little serving size birds...perfect!
