This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

You don't need to live in the college dorms to appreciate knock-down furniture.  Let's build some shelves that can be disassembled easily for transport!  The images and videos below are a bit fancier than what's required.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
- zero glue
- zero metal
- mortise, tenon, and pegs
- 3 shelves tall
- 2 to 6 feet wide
- no treated wood or paint
- free standing or hang from the wall

To document your completion of the BB, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
- the wood you're starting with
- the construction partially underway
- the finished shelves knocked down
- the finished shelves assembled

Here you will see me building a sweet little set of knock down shelves.  They are made of poplar with beech tusks/wedges/pegs or whatever you want to call them.  No paint, no oil, no coatings or treatment at all; au naturale, baby.  The shelves are 30" wide by 40" tall.  If a more accurate numerical measure is required, I used a 24" square in the layout clip where I am marking lines on the shelf.

Note: Great job!
