This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

If you have a concrete floor in your shop, you might want to build some rolly shelves.  They hold lots of stuff and can be moved to change the shape or usage of the room.

Here are some plans by our very own Davin Hoyt: Rolly Shelf Plan Download

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
  - at least 7 feet tall
  - at least 30 inches deep
  - at least 75 inches wide
  - very strong base and very strong connection to wheels
  - no plywood or man-made materials
  - no glue

To document your completion of the BB, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
- the wood you're starting with
- the construction partially underway
- the finished rolly shelf

I needed movable storage for my garage.  I used 2x4s and 3s for the frame.  2x6s for the shelves and ripped 2x6s for the walls.  All the lumber, nails, and some of the screws were salvaged.  The wheels were off a different version of “Rolly Shelf” that I use in my basement.  It’s dimensions are 75” wide, 31” deep, and 84.5” so it rolls under my 85” garage door tracks.
