This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in earthworks.

Here is a video about how to use a dump trailer.

From the video description:
"Dump trailers are ideal for building contractors, landscapers and farmers and are a great way to transport materials like sand, dirt, gravel, mulch, roofing shingles, concrete and more with a 12-Volt hydraulic system used to dump material."

To get certified for this BB, post pictures or a video (2 minutes or shorter) that demonstrate the following:
  - the operation of a dump trailer
  - load and dump 5 loads

Here are six loads I loaded and unloaded with the 14 ft dump trailer.

The first two loads were soil and sticks moved from one side of a pasture to the other to be applied to my Hügelkultur. I used the dump trailer rather than just using the front loader to minimize the number of trips across the pasture since the ground was still wet and soft and I wanted to avoid extra rutting and compaction.

The next two loads were a horse manure wood chip mixture harvested from a neighbor, and the last two loads were cow manure harvested from a neighbor.
