This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in woodland care.

For this BB, you will lift a 10 foot long, 12 inch diameter log 15 feet off the ground and place it on a structure with a gin pole!

The requirements for this BB are to do the following:
     o lift a 10 foot long, 12 inch diameter log 15 feet off the ground and place it on a structure with a gin pole
     o it can be a tractor mounted gin pole or a traditional style

To get certified for this BB, provide proof of the following as either pictures of a video (<2 mins):
     o log tied to the gin pole before lifting
     o action shot of lifting the log with a gin pole
     o log on the structure while still tied to the gin pole
 
We can fix it! We just need some baling wire, some WD-40, a bit of duct tape and this tiny ad:
