This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP Curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Natural Medicine.

I'm helping my friend, Patient #1, with their Sunburn problem. They went to the beach in the afternoon and didn't protect their skin from harmful UV light. The sunburn is mild and appeared 2 hours prior.

 - Your suggestions for relief (including, but not limited to)
     - Behavioral: protect skin and shield from sun during peak UV light hours
     - Food as medicine: stay hydrated
     - Concoctions: apply my homemade salve made with calendula, plantain, and yarrow
 - Description of success (including, but not limited to)
     - What your friend actually did: applied the salve at night and again in the morning the next day
     - How well it worked and how long it took to see results: the burn was not noticeable the next morning and the skin didn't peel two weeks later.

 - Picture of you with friend on the first meeting
 - Picture of you with friend (giving a thumbs up) on your last meeting
