Many useful objects can be made from birch bark. It's waterproof and takes forever to rot. There's a short season to harvest it so let's go get some birch bark!

How to harvest birch bark without killing the tree
Minimum requirements:
- Harvest 32 square feet of birch bark
- From live or recently dead tree
- Use immediately or
- Store properly by rolling white side in and perpendicular to the curve of the bark (up or down the tree)
Provide proof of the following as pictures or
video (<2 min):
- A tree you're harvesting from
- Same tree after harvesting
- Birch bark laid out to measure or tree math to show 32 square feet
- Tree math = circumference x length of piece added up among all the pieces
- Stored birch bark
