This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

We've done some basic carpentry so far and now it's time to bump it up a notch.  Does your living room look too sparse?  Let's fill up some of that space with a coffee table!

Here's a gentleman showing us one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a coffee table
  - At least 1.5' by 3.5'
  - At least one drawer or shelf
  - Homemade natural finish

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The lumber you're going to use for this project
  - Midway through the construction process
  - Applying the natural finish
  - Completed coffee table

Nothing up my sleeve ... and ... presto! A tiny ad:
