This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

We're really moving along in our carpentry skills, let's try an expert project.  Wanna get some of those higher level Textiles BBs?  You're gonna need a spinning wheel...  Let's build one!

Here's a photo log of one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a nice spinning wheel
        - Saxony, Norwegian, Castle or Walking wheel style
  - Needs to look like it was built by a craftsperson
  - Homemade natural finish is optional

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The lumber you're going to use for this project
  - Midway through the construction process
  - Completed spinning wheel

Also provide video of the following (<2 min):
 - Using the wheel to spin some fiber into thread
