This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Traditional Skills.

If you want to start making pottery with wild clay, you might want to make it pretty and possibly more waterproof?  Let's turn some wild clay into slip!

Here's one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Collect wild clay soil and make it into acceptable pottery slip
  - Make two colors (likely from two different locations)
  - This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - Site you are getting your clay from
  - Levigating the clay from the soil
  - Two colors of clay slip

So it goes - Vonnegut
