I will end up going to a dentist eventually to get my retainer removed from when I had braces

The doctors finally put a low electrical current through it for a month or two and it healed fine. I don't know all of the specifics but my father-in-law told me that the technology dates from the 1920's. It went out of favor when penicillin came along, along with a lot of other old ways of helping the body to heal. I got the impression the doctors used it only as a last resort because it isn't "how we do things now".

It is just sad, that they waited a whole year to do that, when they knew it was available. I am trying to find this kind of device, and we can buy used one, that is meant for healing bones, however manufacturer set it to be used for 47 times only, so people couldn't use it themselves, and would have to pay their exorbitant price again. They sell similar frequency beauty machines for the skin, but they come from China, and I am not sure they are made well and truly have the frequency they say. I wonder, if they are hard to make from parts we can buy. My dad is engineer, he would make his own radios from parts, maybe he could make one for me...

electrical stimulation ("electronic" is what they say)--intednded for back massage, but again I think it could be easily modified. Not endorsing either of these, just sharing the first hits I came to when I looked on the internets.

So, teeth can "grow back" in terms of becoming hard again, but they don't really "grow back" in terms of filling in holes.
