BRK Day 54

Thanks Zeek! I think it's pretty cool too.

Yesterday we spent all day at base camp, gardening in the morning and laying stone for the patio after lunch, though me and Orin took a few hours to figure out some kickstarter related technical thingamadoos

It rained all day yesterday, and it's still coming down this morning. Never thought I would say it but I'm kinda ready for it to be done

BRK Day 59

We spent most of the day doing chop and drop yesterday, but I took some time to do a few other little things like cutting notches in some of the scaffolding on the hugels.

The gardens at base camp are getting really rich and beautiful with food so you can eat fresh peas, currants, and strawberries as you walk through

BRK Day 60

Harvested mulch from the drain field today, then brought two hay bales over to base camp from the lab. We spent most of the day mulching the back and lower paddock.

When we were unwrapping the bales me and Josiah started pulling on the same piece of bailing twine from opposite sides. I think we were both pretty confused why the bail was trying to suck our rope back in haha
