Bug? apple poll and report button not working on tablet using internet explorer

I'm going to try and set up an apple poll on the first post of this thread.

I voted and I see it's a bit different than in the past?  we vote by clicking on the thumbs up? Not the 'vote' button?

This will give me time to clean up my old drawing board...who in the world put the duct tape on it

We're working on the apple poll

You have one regular vote per apple (you don't loose apples) and one vote per thumb (PIE people have two thumbs up, everyone else has one)

It's deliberately squed in favour of PIE and people with apples.  

did the vote button work for you?

I think we've only tested it on staff so far.

The 'vote' button did not work.

The 'thumbs up' did seem to work but now under the heading 'your votes' there is only a 'thumbs down button' after I hit the thumbs up button.  It maybe that I pressed it too many times?

What browser are you using?  Mobile view?

It should bring up a window allowing you to put in a number for how many votes you want.

I'm using firefox on my tablet...that's probably it.  I still can't use 'report' and a few other buttons on it.

Regular view though.  I'll let you know when I'm on my pc later.

file fox + mobile view = some buttons not working

Buttons include
- "vote" on apple poll
- "report" post button

Is this right?
Anything else?

back on my pc and was able to vote.

On my tablet I can't 'report' or use the 'vote' button.  I'll have to go over the buttons later when I'm back on it.  

This is all in regular view though...I never use the mobile view.

Last vote in apple poll was on January 15, 2019

Dang it.

I can't reproduce the error.  We need to be able to reproduce it before sending up the bat signal.

I'm going to split off this conversation into its own thread and see if we can find someone who is having the same problem.

I can make those buttons work on windows PC, firefox.

But they open a small box.  Maybe there is a small-box-blocker stopping it from working?

Mine work on my pc in firefox but not on my dell tablet which is also firefox.

Could it be because my tablet is not windows 10?


EDIT...I forgot that my tablet is using internet explorer not firefox...maybe that browser is the problem?

It might also be the order that the buttons get pushed?

I know when I was testing this, if I pushed the thumbs-up vote BEFORE doing the apple one, it disabled the apple vote button. Maybe that didn't get fixed?

IE windows 10

poll not working (I click, nothing happens) but I have no apple.  I click and it goes faded

I click thumb button and nothing happen, no change

I click report, and report box shows up but looks clunky.
