I think that is one banjo. It sounds like two especially toward the end. I don’t know for certain but banjos can sound like more than one instrument when played that way!

This is amazing. Makes me miss my broken G string, since my first instinct is to try playing it. Maybe it’ll work on banjo!

By the way though, it seems like everyone in these songs is named Willie or Polly or Johnny.
