have you eaten any? it's delicious.

had some at a great Mexican restaurant in Portland last year. in the dim restaurant lighting, it looked very appealing. as leftovers visible in daylight the day after, it looked pretty nasty. still tasty, though.

I didn't know what corn smut was, so I just googled it to see. I had just eaten lunch, which now wants to come back up. I had no idea it was going to look so gross! Thanks for teaching me about this grossdeliciousness.

most traditional is quesadillas, but I've had it in some delicious soup, too. never prepared it myself, just had it at a friend's restaurant.

in other news, I just got my permit to transport cultures and cultivate the stuff. not a simple or quick process, though everyone involved was helpful.
