Toronto is a fairly hard water area, so pipes can get gummed up with calcium deposits. You may be able to ask your water supplier to check the pressure water is being delivered to your property at. If they says it's fine but you're getting a lot less coming out at all your taps, then if could be there's an issue with the supply as it comes into your property. If it's only some taps, then they could be blocked and you may be able to descale them. If it's only affecting
hot water, then the
hot water system pipes could be blocked. A friend of mine in your part of Canada is constantly having issues with her on-demand hot water system because of this - the cold water runs fine, hot just dribbles. Other thoughts - if there's a whole house water softerner or filter, that could be blocked. Some flow waaaaaaay slower when the filter needs changing.
