Roundwood door hinges?

I'm anticipating a little trouble putting regular door hinges on my roundwood shed. I think the timbers would pinch.

I could either hew them square (what's the fun in that?) Or use a different hinge.

Maybe a lag hinge, like used for gates? Anyone have any better solutions?

I am curious what comes of this thread. I have plans to make my own door this year and i am want to make my own hinges.

Have you looked at this style?

Jennie, can you show us a photo so we are not guessing please?

Those bolts work well in the correct place, but an image will clarify some other aspects of their use.
 
A sonic boom would certainly ruin a giant souffle. But this tiny ad would protect it:
