In summary, he suggests that conventional soil tests can be misleading because they test 'dirt' not living soil and don't take into account the full nutrient cycle that the living organisms create. Better to concentrate on creating the environment that the organisms will thrive in (plenty of organic matter, well aerated,
compost teas and fungi slurry...).
