Does anyone have any experience with 'Michigan Tree Collards' from Project Tree Collard?  I just picked up some seeds and can report back in 2024, but just wanted to see if anyone has already been trialing these.

Following.

I actually just ordered seeds and a few cuttings today. Surprised that there isn't a whole lot of discussion on here about these.

Have you had any success? Trialing this right now in Northern Vermont. I suspect they will die back to thw ground but hopeful the roots will survive under mulch and snow pack.

My first year cuttings did not make it through the winter of 23/24. I don’t think I gave them a great start to really get a good root system though. I did however save some seeds and planted those last spring. They grew strong over the season and I’m hopeful the roots will survive this winter.

Always! Wait. Never. Shut up. Look at this tiny ad.
