First day of rain and I want to do some baking.  I don't want to turn the oven on for just one thing,  so I'm looking for inspiration of some yummy stuff to bake with apples.

Apple harvest was pretty good this year.

What's your favourite apple recipe?

Fried apples (sautéed in butter, sprinkled generously with cinnamon and your favorite sweetener)
Fresh apple cake
Apple crisp
Apple tart
Baked apples (cored, stuffed with raisins or other dried fruit, nuts, cinnamon, brown sugar - or drizzle w honey or Maple syrup, top with a pat of butter, and bake until fork-tender, & serve with cream, clotted cream, ice cream, creme anglais, or just as is)
