Just ran across this. It’s in the first few minutes.  The second house they built is more conventional.

Thought it is a good proof of concept after a test of time in some extreme conditions.

That was super cool,  their story is inspiring.  So young!  Plus I always have extra admiration for folks with the fortitude for such cold.   I grew up in cold places most of my life but never learned to do more than barely tolerate living through winter months.

It is a credit to them, I dont understand their love of the [ cold ] region, but good on them.
