This is what I woke up to this morning, and it's still coming down. Three feet so far, maybe another foot or so is expected.

Hi Paul;
It certainly is winter at your house this morning!
I'm guessing that's a stellar example of Lake effect snow?
You have not even mentioned the temps and wind speed!
I guess it is mid-November after all!

We are having a glorious morning here in the normally cloudy inland empire!
8F clear sky, no wind at all, a few inches of snow, and just a stunning morning.
Quite the contrast from here to there!
I'm sitting next to the wood stove in my comfy chair with the window partially open behind me!

Take hope that this clear cold Canadian front will be headed your way next... well I guess it won't be snowing anyways.
If we did not secretly like winter I guess we would move south!

I do hope there's *NO WHERE* you need to go today, Paul! That's serious snow no matter how used to it you are! Take care and please make sure any chimneys/sewer vents aren't plugged. Let's hope people don't do stupid shit and get dead over this one.

Can't go anywhere even if I wanted to! Travel bans throughout the entire county. We're stocked up with all the stuff we need and Wednesday afternoon after I took my wife to a med appt I took care of whatever errands and such I might've needed to do today and tomorrow.

Yeah, lake effect snows hitting many areas around the Great Lakes....Superior and Lake Michigan and Erie.  My wife who lived in Toronto many moons ago commented that Buffalo may lose a lot of that when the temps rebound..??...  Lake Superior north and south shores getting a good dump as well, but solid winter seems here to stay, even before Thanksgiving.  NW Minnesota will be around 0F or lower the next few nights with possible teens during the day.  Great photos, Paul!....

Oh my. Your car kind of looks like a buffalo.

Do me a huge favor & keep that cold stuff up there.
