I was thinking it might be fun to get six to eight permaculture people together on saturday night at the riverside cafe. Starting at 5. I suspect that there will be people that cannot make that time, and it would be good for them to start a new thread suggesting a new time and date further down the road.

It would be "dutch treat" (everybody buys their own food).

I like the idea of this format because I get a LOT of people that want to get together with me and I feel like I really don't have the time. But this way I'm getting together with several people.

So I'm in. That's one. I think we need to limit it to a total of eight. So the next seven names added to this thread would be part of the group. first come, first serve.

Nice choice of day!

Saturday Feb 2 is Masanobu Fukuoka's birthday.

I will be out of town, but I know a couple of ladies that may attend.

Nice one, Jo!
I look forward to discuss some ideas that a few of us less financially endowed folks may have.
See you there!

Well, I tried to make it but I got bogged down in Seeley Lake (on my way from the Swan) and didn't make it to town until 7. My apologies to all concerned!! Since space is dear and limited to 8, and since other folks seem to want to participate, I"ll not put my name in next time. I live so far out of town that the logistics are difficult. If, however, I am in town at the right time AND if the meeting isn't at capacity (8 people, right?), then I'll drop in. Again, I sincerely apologize for not making it!!
