Yesterday it was time to alert folks that the kickstarter is ending. Monthly-ish ... check. Previous kickstarters ... check. ...

And then there is this gob I call "the old emails." Probably 99% are people who bought stuff from me long ago - they are not part of the permies system. A couple thousand email addresses. I send it from my regular email address and at the bottom I say "to unsubscribe just reply and say so. It's just me, no fancy machines." With yesterday's email there were three bounce messages and three people that asked to be unsubscribed. Done.

And I received one email unlike the others

Please do not unsubscribe me! Thanks for all you do.

A simple bright spot in the day.
