Intruder alert Intruder alert!

They walk in like they own the place. (perhaps they do.) This breeding pair has been returning to our place for 4 years.



At times, they try our nerves.

They're adorable - do they have names? Are they some sort of stork or a heron? I'm not that good at bird identification!

I use it to sew leather mittens and I used it to sew my tipi

They are sandhill cranes.

Awesome video!! I love it! "First day of deer season, in WI. You get a pass!" Next time the wild turkeys try to birdnap one of ours, I'll see what they think of my brined turkey cooking methods! We only have one big male Kentucky Bourbon Red, at the moment, so not an issue, right now. But, if sharing your fried chicken recipe worked, I'm up for checking it out, lol.
