To make Permies Fall Sushi you start by assembling your ingredients:




Then arrange them neatly on your sheet of nori (a giant sushi mat might be useful here to get them neatly compressed!)



Roll smoothly and fasten neatly




I don't recommend eating this....

We just had high winds forecast. The nice thing about the sushi roll is that Mother Nature can't rearrange your lovely leaf collection!

When that is up and running I clear the neighbor's yards, and pick up lots of leaves from the graveyard behind us. The mower chops them nicely, so they break down well.

...but on the plus side, it has several times more fiber than typical sushi and if you have certain trees in your area (like walnut), it can help make sure your guts stay parasite free!
