Rockjack as Trellis?

I didn't want to hijack Nancy's thread but it did light a spark of imagination for me.

I am planning on trying to tackle creation of a Rockjack for a BB but I don't need a rockjack on my property for fencing. I however have a desire to grow trellising plants on some kind of trellis. Would a rockjack be able to support that kind of function rather than be attached to a fence? Would it be able to deal with a heavier plant such as hops or grapes or would it be inclined to topple?

Let me know your thoughts, worse thing I can do is try and find out either way.

It sounds like I have a spring experiment! I will revisit this thread with my findings in the future.

Although if you don't need the BB then there are probably easier ways of making a trellis support than moving loads of rocks (depending on your situation there of course)! I'm pretty sure it would work well and look really nice. I think of rock jacks as being pretty similar to gabions, just with wooden baskets rather than metal ones, and there are lots of ideas for climbing plants either up, or supported by the gabions. Could also use a gabion basket, eg
