To whom it may concern, (assuming someone is concerned)

So I'm not Brian Jeffrey. . . well I am, however I am also Pancake. Brian Jeffrey is my government issued ID name, whereas Pancake represents my actual reality. It has been my AT trail name, my Family name, my online name (even at offline online meetups), basically my name given to those who I see as more than an extension of the culture I am actively moving away from. And that would most decidedly include Permies.com.

So is there a way to change the Brian Jeffrey to a respectable Pancake? Or even Brian Pancake Jeffrey if you must?

How about putting "aka pancake" in your signature?

Or maybe Brian Jefferson. It doesn't have to be your real name just sound like a real name. And then what Paul said so your Pancake friends know it is you.
I am known by another name elsewhere also.
I assume that is what you are thinking about?
