Currently, we primarily use ours:
-to grow winter salad greens
-to harden off seedlings
-as a temporary nursery bed for things like sea kale (while not growing winter greens)
-as a protected area for potted plants in case of a cold snap
Does anyone have any other interesting ways of using a cold frame?
Hi Tanya,
You covered everything I have or would have used a cold frame for. I'd be curious if anyone else has anything else.

I currently don't have a cold frame but I utilized my last one as a warming area for jugs of water in the fall. In an hour or so those jugs would warm up enough to water the last few crops when needed.
