A friend sent me this link that may be ball lightning in Alberta, Canada. I don't know what it is, but it's damn freaky!

Neat!! I have heard of ball lightning, but never seen it. Not sure what else it could be, so I agree with that guess.

Yes, I heard about that - very cool!

We get so little lightening where I live that any lightening is a big deal. It sounds like this event was pretty special.
