I have lots of bags.

I have close to or more than 2000 that we are no longer in need of. If anyone needs any that is near KY/TN border and doesn't want to pay an arm and leg for bags. These are all pre-used feed sacks. First $100 gets them.

Welcome to permies Melissa! What you're doing is fine! I have reported your post to request that it be cross-posted (a form of linking) to the Midwest or Appalachia forums and the resources forum. Which side of the states? East (Carolinas) or West (Missouri)? I'm in WNC, and may be interested in getting them from you. I haven't decided on an earth bag home yet, but I could/would use them for a garage/workshop at the very least.

That's about 4 hours from me, in Asheville, NC. I'm afraid that distance would eat up any savings in gas and time

My husband and I are sourcing materials for an earthbag house and we are located in Whitley City. Almost too good to be true that you are sooo close to us.
