Hey all,

Am scheming to start a rocket heater project and want to make some test builds using fire brick. I'm in Portland, OR. Anyone know where to get thick fire brick (2.5" or so) in this area? I have found multiple dealers with only the 1.25" thick type.

Western ceramics in Tualatin. They are about $4 a brick. They don't have a store front so you need to call your order in

Thanks Andrew. I actually found some at Mutual Materials in Clackamas over the weekend. Just $1.65 each. First prototype is working pretty nicely.
