this is pretty weird...I thought I noticed a little while ago that David L's name was on Paul's deep roots topic as the OP but I decided I must have imagined it...this time I got a screen shot of Grant Shultz's name on both of Paul's topics as OP and last post.

I guess it's Landon's turn now ...seems like every time I come back to permies after other on line stuff there is a new name and when I reload the page it is back to Paul.

This is the "recent topics" page, right?

I think it is time to retire that page.  As the forum grows, that page is not keeping up with the changes and things are starting to break.

A lot of features have been added to the new view to make sure that the folks that liked the old view got all of the candy they were looking for.  Are we ready to retire the "recent topics" page?

you say "tin pot dictator" like it is a bad thing!

That is how I navigate.
My functionality would be seriously undermined without 'Recent Topics'.

Not me.

For what it's worth, I'm not ready either.....I go there first always.  I'm not sure I understand what would replace it? or how to see all of the most recent topics without having to go to each individual forum?

Please start a new thread detailing what is missing from the new look and feel.  

The recent topics page is definitely going away.  Since it is starting to break, that day might be coming really soon.  We need to understand what, exactly, you would miss from that page.  And, more exactly, HOW you use that page.
