Hi all,
My girlfriend n I are looking to start a permaculture business. We have limited knowledge and want to do something in the realm of sustainable landscaping until we have enough money to buy property and create a homestead to make a living off of. While still continuing the business. She's very artistic among many other things and I just work very hard while improving my skills in design and overall permaculture. We're 23 years old and looking for resources and help to get going like books, meetings, connections, mentors, podcasts and videos while we're working or downtime, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We're in SE Wisconsin but likely moving to the southwest for a while. Well wishes to all of you permies out there!
Peace and love,
Brent n Jordan

If you don't have these, they belong in your library.

Introduction to Permaculture, bill mollison

Restoration Agriculture, mark shepard

Sepp Holzer's Permaculture; A Practical Guide to Small Scale Farming

Those are the "bibles" for anyone wanting to get the education fast and accurate.

This Site, on Permies you can find a treasure trove, with many different view points as well as what works and what doesn't for particular areas of the country/ world.

Consider making biochar, compost and natural farming inputs.

Thanks Bryant, I have yet to get any of those books but will get on that! And Harry thank you as well. I'll follow those links.

You know it is dark times when the trees riot. I think this tiny ad is their leader:
