Boil down Maple syrup on Rocket Mass Heater?

I'm interested in boiling down a small batch of Maple syrup next spring and it seems like the barrel of  RMH would work nicely.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I have no experience with using a RMH but I've boiled plenty of syrup.  If you're boiling down more than a gallon or so of sap, you probably don't want to do it inside.  The steam is sticky and whoever has to clean the walls and ceiling may not like you for a while.

It has been done with a rmh , but not a small batch. Those folks were full on syrup making.

If you search there will be a post about it.
