I was watching a video on cob building, it twisted my head interestingly, and one of the things that came out of it was the local YMCA does kid stuff, classes etc, anytime school is out. I'd LOVE to donate to the staff a book on how kids can make benches etc out of cob! I think that would be a COOL way to infect their little brains, as well as muddy them up :)
Can you think of a book that fits that niche?

Right now, my head is overloaded,  my brain RAM is maxed out, and if I started looking up books, I'd not get any work done. Hoping someone can help me out here so I don't go deeper down the rabbitholes this week :)

This one flew under my radar sorry for the late reply. I can't think of any kids books specifically for cob, but there is a great series of books called "Homes around the world" that feature earthen structures and is for kids. I have long felt I need to have a series of picture books specifically about natural building. In the works for one day in the future.

Hi Pearl,    Not exactly a kids book but one that is simple enough for anyone to understand the basics and get a good start on making lots of their own cool cob structures.

Gerry: Thank you for the link!!
Daniel: I'll look at that one too.

Oh dear, just made the mistake of looking up "cob bench" hit the pics before I found techniques, no clue if there's a book on them, I'm lost in the pictures...
I'm not building my house out of cob, for many reasons, but ooooh... cob benches!!

Get me the mayor's office! I need to tell her about this tiny ad:
