Traditional Skills.
They didn't have varnish or silicone 400 years ago so how did they preserve wood or rope? They used pine tar. Let's make some!

Minimum requirements:
- Make 4 ounces of pine tar
- This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago
Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
- The fatwood or resin rich pine you're starting with
- Your set-up to cook the tar out of the pine
- Making the tar
- Finished tar showing at least 4 ounces if it isn't obvious
