This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Traditional Skills.

Sometimes a rabbit seems like a good meal idea.  What if you don't want to hunt?  Let's make and set up a snare!

Here's one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Build a wire/cable/twine/rope snare for a specific critter
  - Set it up somewhere as if you were going to catch that specific critter
  - No need to actually attempt to snare the critter
  - This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - Materials for your snare
  - Specify what type of critter it's targetting
  - Building your snare
  - Finished snare, set up as if to catch that critter
