As part of my community PEP badge quest, I made a sign and branded a physical location along the Wabash River Trail where soft shell turtles like to cross the bike path from the river to the corn field on the other side... I don't know what is so attractive about the field, but they seem to like it. See my video below to see how I made the sign, where I placed it, and a picture from a couple of years ago of a soft shell that crossed the trail right at that spot!

Turtle Crossing sounds like a lot of fun.

In the past dear hubby and I , and other friends have stopped in the middle of a busy road to help turtle crossing so that they don't get run over.
