I got a deal on some Carpathian walnuts so now I have to find a place to plant them.  I have a butternut guild put together for juglone tolerant plants.  I'll have to put these Carpathian walnuts somewhere else.  Do they have alleopathic properties and if so, how strong are they?  I don't want to put them somewhere and end up killing a bunch of established stuff down the line.  I believe black walnuts are high on the juglone scale and I believe Butternuts are lower on the scale.  Any idea where Carpathians are on the scale?

Thanks!
