New Purple Mooseage alert?

I commented on a thread about CBD oil, directing the OP via a posted link to the cider press postings most likely to address her questions. The thread was then locked, which is fine, but will result in that same poster posting anew with new questions, should she have them, which I suppose is also fine; I would simply answer in a similar manner and link to that same thread, barring direction to do otherwise.

There is, however, a new mystery. If I access the locked thread with my mobile phone, not my computer, I see an alert in the top section, replacing the "My Purple Mooseages" with "New Purple Mooseage" and the lit-up number 1 that indicates a new Purple Mooseage. However, when I click it, I am taken to my inbox, and there's no new Purple Mooseage.

And if I log out, I still don't see it on the computer, but it's still on my mobile. What gives?

So it looks like the alert was doubled or something. The alert that appeared only on that one page disappeared, and I never got another Purple Mooseage on it.

I discovered a new problem, the one about the Reply Button not being there, and there being no Forum association, and having to add the thread manually in order for the Reply Button to show up.
