It is long since I have been thinking and wishing for a garden burial but here in Spain rules are quite rigid and I don't yet have the language proficiency to discuss this in detail with an authority. My biggest problem, though, is an unwillingness of my nearest and dearest to discuss this seriously. They don't seem to realise how important these things are and how, if arranged in advance, a conversation now will relieve a great deal of stress later. Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so, how did you, if you did, get over this? Is your family more understanding? I'm struggling to get the idea of meat chickens on our finca into my husband's comfort zone, let alone my mortal remains!
