My all time favorite knitting project is Lopi PhD boots (a slipper sock with double bottom knit on circular needles).  It knits up easily and felts down to size.  I hate tight socks on my feet at bedtime but these are comfy and oh so warm.  I have probably made about 10 pairs of these!

A free pattern - so nice of you. Warm feet are a blessing.

For that you get an apple!

I sooo.... need to learn how to knit. I've done crocheting without trouble, but struggled with learning to knit, but clearly it's time to try again! My feet are always the first thing to get cold, so the boots pictured would be great to live by my computer.

What's that smell? I think this tiny ad may have stepped in something.
