Sadly, the Kitty is under house arrest.. Pending results from drug testing!
Puppy was given a treat and sent out to play.

EDIT)   Guilty!!! The little stoner was high as a kite!  You could no doubt smell the nip on her breath!
She has been sentenced to exile! Forced to live the rest of her life in a sunbeam!
That'll teach the little stoner!

Well, from where I sit, it sounds like Species Profiling.  PETA needs to get involved!

Thomas,

I love that picture!  I used to read those books to my daughter when she was younger.  She always loved Bad Kitty.

Seems to me like the cat clearly had the right of way, and the dog was negligent by failing to yield.

Hi James,

Indeed. Was any drug testing done on the dog?  Were there any hall cameras in place? And, why did the dog receive a treat?

Those are excellent questions!

I think the revelation that the dog has received a treat might be evidence of nepotism! Is this dog a member of the family that punished the cat? And how do we know the cats drug test wasn't subject to malfeasance?!

Clearly the cat has been wrongfully convicted and the dog must be brought to justice!

Hi James

We are just scratching the surface.  As I sink my teeth into this, I am becoming rabid.  What kind of surface was on the hall floor? Was it a smooth surface that resulted in a skid or did it have a surface  that  could have resulted in a snagged claw?

The poor puppy was given a treat to calm her nerves!  I mean OBVIOUSLY the cat was already very laid back . (James Brown was on the stereo)
Floors were slippery hardwood.  Puppy weight was misstated... not 12  pounds ... 120 pounds.
The stoned kitty could have been crushed by the mini moose rampaging down the hallway.
Instead the valiant brave puppy risked crashing thru the log wall rather than hurt the incapacitated kitty!
A treat was a proper reward for such selfless behavior.
Demanding a drug test for simply speeding recklessly down the hall would have been insulting!
