Trying to balance reading the Permies forum and watching the evening news, I was surprised to find a juxtaposition of topics when this story came on:

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/globalhealth/jan-june12/food9billion_04-03.html

While I'm somewhat concerned about the idea of teaching people to be reliant on fertilizer for growing crops, at the core, this is a good project.

Cheers.

As Mark Twain once said

If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed.
If you do read the newspaper, you're misinformed.
