Hi everyone, I'm an American engineer who's working between HK and Singapore for the past few years. I first found out about permaculture coming from a systems design perspective and I'm trying to learn as much as I can before moving back to the US and (hopefully) starting a homestead. My day job is focused on information management and production planning, so that's what I've put most of my recent efforts towards. Right now I'm working on an Excel-based market garden planner heavily inspired by Frederic Theriault's and Daniel Brisebois' excellent book Crop Planning for Organic Vegetable Growers. I'm planning on releasing it in the next two weeks and would appreciate any comments or feedback from those with more experience than myself.

Other than that, I'm looking to learn from the community here and contribute in whatever ways I can. Covid lockdowns in Asia mean I've got more free time than I'm used to, so if anyone has any open-source permaculture projects, let me know!

Cheers,
Gavin

Welcome here, Gavin. You are lucky to have the free time to study on permaculture while you earn money to be able to buy land when you'll return!
The Permies Forums are the best place to start getting more knowledge on permaculture, wherever on Earth you may be.
