I am just now getting my greenhouse up and running (well walking the first steps).  I was wondering what people use to monitor the temp in greenhouse?

I use a remote thermometer .....actually I have several.  I have them set up in a couple of stalls, the high tunnel, and outside. There is no alarm system.  I read them before I go to bed and first thing in the morn.  If it is going to be a rough night, I can make a point of getting up.  Usually I don't need to. I am a morning person, and my wife is a night person.  So our going to bed times and getting up times are staggered enough that we can get pretty regular readings. We keep a couple of LP heaters  available to give things a boost if needed.

Yes ; I have a weather station.
Three remote monitors.  One outdoors, one  in the deep freezer and one in the greenhouse.
They work great.  The monitor is right next to my comfy chair so its easy to check.

There's a city wide manhunt for this tiny ad:
