my seed bombs are exploding! (with seedlings :)

Last month I completed the seed bomb Badge Bit for the foraging PEP badge.

Yesterday, I was out foraging pecans and discovered that my seed bombs have sprouted.

I can't tell you how exciting this was. I probably never would have tried it if it hadn't been for PEP.

Has anyone else tried these?

A friend of mine tried this and it also worked.

 The city was complaining about his messy front yard of pollinator food (wild flowers). So he made seed bombs and threw them on all the vacant city owned lots and once they sprouted and grew, he then took pictures of those lots covered in pollinator food and won his case while also providing more pollinator food......  this is the kind of passive aggressiveness I can get behind. Lol

effectively yes, Matthew- actually kind of a mixed- seed blob that gets plopped onto mother earth.

Looks like, the above example is maybe trees, with clover coing up around for nitrogen-fixing.....
not sure but that is one great thing to do on seed bombs, i reckon.

Matthew, yes, at least according to the instructional video for the badge bit, seed bombs are larger than seed balls, although I really doubt the difference matters much. What's important is the technique!

Oh that's great!  I haven't checked on mine but I kinda lobbed them along the edge of the woods because I didn't want to step through the poison ivy.  :)
