I've posted about my geodesic space frames on these forums before, but I've struggled with finding a suitable and affordable method of covering them.

I finally figured out a way! It's not pretty, but the cover held up to 30mph winds last night here in wisconsin.

I can build a 17ft diameter dome for 100 bucks plus the cost of the cover. The really interesting thing i wish to explore is building domes in domes as way to double insulate the interior. I've posted video to youtube. My channel is Lemond.alc You can also search for "MKE domes".

I'd love to here your questions and comments!

And I'm always looking for people that want to help refine this geodesic design so please reach out if you are interesting in building one. I will gladly help you!

Andrew, that's a really interesting habit. :)

Are they dome mostly for greenhouse?

I've heard of people building greenhouse  pyramids. For energetics and stuff.

I'll check out your channel. Looks fascinating.

Thanks for sharing

Oh, I have questions! What is that square thing that you use as a junction for the pipes?  And where can I get some?

Andrew I love it, what an awesome job you've done! I also love the idea of a dome within a dome!
