Hey all, having some issues with my mulberry and pomegranate - anyone able to help explain what is wrong / what they need (nutrients? Conditions?)

I get marks like mulberry on my hazels sometimes.  I put it down to windburn from the salt winds we get here.  Have you had strong cold winds recently?
The pomegranite could be a number of things.  Some sort of nutrient deficiency is my guess.  Is it a new plant, or has it been there long?

Virtually no frost (a few cold nights, but no frost). We do get some strong winds.

It is nearing the end of November in the northern hemisphere. Deciduous trees are expected to lose their leaves during the winter.  I'm not quick to blame diseases or lack of nutrients for typical tree behavior of shedding leaves for the winter.

We had our first frost two nights ago.
Before, they looked normal.
Now my mulberries look like this.

Looks like a deciduous tree in late fall. Your general location in your profile would help to put your question in context, and you’ll get better answers
